Comprehensive Hardware Restoration.

From component-level repairs to full-system rebuilds, our bench is equipped to handle any restoration challenge. Every service follows strict quality protocols and transparent policies.

Full-System Hardware Rebuilds & Component Replacement

We feature full-service hardware solutions for modern and legacy systems. Our technicians replace every internal component—up to and including entire motherboard replacements—to restore your hardware to peak performance.

1. Sanitation & Safety

  • No Pest Policy: Wright Consoles will not accept any hardware showing signs of insect infestation (roaches, bedbugs, etc.).
  • Protocol: If an infestation is discovered after intake, the unit will be immediately double-bagged and the customer will be notified for immediate pickup. A $30.00 cleaning/sanitation fee may be applied to cover workspace decontamination.

2. Warranty Coverage & Authorization

  • Standard Labor Warranty: Every repair includes a free 30-Day Limited Labor Warranty (covers labor only, parts not included) at no additional cost, starting the moment the console is picked up.
  • Implicit Authorization: Please note that picking up the console from our shop constitutes implicit authorization and agreement from the client that the console is fully fixed, functional, and tracking to your satisfaction.
  • Extended Technical Warranty: A 90-Day Extended Technical Warranty is available for purchase at the time of service.
  • Limitations: All warranties are instantly voided if the 'Wright Certified' tamper-evident seal is broken, or if the unit shows any signs of subsequent accidental damage, liquid spills, or power surge damage.

3. Bench Turnaround Expectations

  • Next-Gen Tier (PS5, Xbox Series, Switch): Expected turnaround is 7 Business Days, contingent on part availability.
  • Legacy Tier (NES, SNES, PS1, PS2, etc.): Expected turnaround is 90 Days. Note: Legacy repairs often require sourcing authentic or high-grade components from specialized vendors, which necessitates a longer lead time.
  • Custom Console Modding & Limited-Batch Parts: Turnaround times for custom modding projects range from 14 days up to 9 months depending on component availability. Specialty hardware—such as high-grade Game Gear LCD kits, custom FPGA modules, or boutique PCB revisions—is manufactured in small batches by independent developers and small firms. Because these parts frequently go out of stock or open only for limited pre-order runs, Wright Consoles actively monitors vendor restocks to secure components. Clients will receive direct progress updates throughout the sourcing and bench installation phases.
  • Handheld Tier: Expected turnaround for newer generation handhelds (Switch, Switch Lite, Steam Deck) is 7 Days. For older generation handhelds (Game Boy Advance, PSP, Nintendo 3DS, Game Gear), expected turnaround is 14 Days, subject to shell, IPS display ribbon, and micro-soldering component lead times.
  • Component Sourcing and Quality Control Industry supply chain shifts since May 2026 have drastically increased defect rates for replacement laser assemblies, optical disc drives, and display screens. To uphold our strict 'Wright Certified' standard, every incoming component undergoes extensive bench testing. If any part fails our initial QA inspection, a vendor replacement is ordered immediately, which may extend turnaround times.
  • Communication: All turnaround times are realistic estimates. If shipping delays or unforeseen technical hurdles arise, updates will be provided directly via SMS text message.

4. Storage Fees & Abandonment

  • Units not picked up within 30 days: Units not picked up within 30 days of the final 'Ready for Pickup' notification via your preferred communication method will be subject to storage fees.
  • Storage fee accumulation: Storage fees accumulate at $5.00 per day after 10 days of non-communication regarding pickup.
  • Abandonment: Units left beyond 60 days with no attempt to claim the console or communicate with the bench will be considered legally abandoned and will be sold to recuperate unpaid bench fees and parts overhead.
